PrintPitStop – Terms of Service

Welcome to PrintPitStop. By purchasing products from PrintPitStop, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with PrintPitStop, whether online, via WhatsApp, email, telephone, or in person, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Products

PrintPitStop supplies printer ink cartridges, toner cartridges, and related printing consumables for a variety of printer brands and models.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they order the correct product for their printer model. If you are unsure, our team is happy to assist, but the final responsibility for confirming compatibility remains with the customer.

3. Pricing

• All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
• Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation unless otherwise specified.
• Prices may exclude delivery charges unless stated otherwise.

4. Payment

Payment is required before orders are dispatched unless a separate credit agreement has been approved.

Accepted payment methods may include:

• EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
• Cash
• Card payments (where available)
• Other approved payment methods

Orders will only be processed once payment has been received and cleared.

5. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on stock availability, courier services, and location.

PrintPitStop is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Courier companies
• Weather conditions
• Public holidays
• Load shedding
• Events beyond our reasonable control

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

6. Stock Availability

All products are subject to stock availability.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, PrintPitStop may:

• Offer a suitable alternative;
• Arrange for a later delivery; or
• Provide a refund if payment has already been made.

7. Returns and Exchanges

Returns may be accepted subject to the following conditions:

• The item must be unused and unopened.
• The original packaging must be intact.
• The return request must be made within 7 days of delivery.
• Proof of purchase is required.

Returns may not be accepted for:

• Incorrect products ordered by the customer where compatibility information was available.
• Opened ink or toner cartridges unless they are defective.
• Products damaged through misuse, improper installation, or accidental damage.

8. Defective Products

If a product is defective upon arrival or develops a manufacturing fault, please contact PrintPitStop as soon as possible.

Where applicable, defective products may be:

• Tested;
• Repaired;
• Replaced; or
• Refunded,

in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act.

9. Warranty

Manufacturer warranties apply where applicable.

PrintPitStop does not provide additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer unless specifically stated.

10. Limitation of Liability

PrintPitStop shall not be liable for:

• Loss of profits;
• Loss of business;
• Loss of data;
• Printer damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, or use of incompatible products;
• Indirect or consequential damages.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product concerned, except where South African law provides otherwise.

11. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate delivery information.
• Verify printer model compatibility before purchase.
• Follow manufacturer installation instructions.
• Inspect deliveries upon receipt and report any issues promptly.

12. Intellectual Property

All logos, branding, designs, product images, marketing material, and website content remain the property of PrintPitStop unless otherwise stated.

No material may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

13. Privacy

Customer information is collected solely for processing orders, deliveries, customer support, and legal obligations.

PrintPitStop will not sell or unlawfully share customer information with third parties.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

PrintPitStop reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms become effective once published or communicated to customers.
